The Canadian Supreme Court has ruled that the Tsartlip Indian band of Vancouver can hunt at night, although nighttime hunting is illegal under current Canadian law, reports BBC Americas. How did the Tsartlip band win? They cited tradition and their 1852 treaty, which expressly permits the practice. Times Business section an AP wire report that caught my eye: The Seminoles of Florida now own Hard Rock. That's right. The Hard Rock empire, all of it, is now owned by American Indians.
