... Then again, an apocalyptic Earth ensured for future generations to inherit has already been a well-spring of productivity for the creative minds of today. Look at Cormac McCarthy's horrifying vision of a post-apocalyptic planet, "The Road," the source of many crazy nightmares. People are already dressing for the world McCarthy sees in our future.
But there also some highly regrettable manifestations of this phenomenon. Let this be a warning, filmmakers of America: "WaterWorld."
