La Opinion and the L.A. edition of Hoy ran stories today on the two Latin American victims in Monday's massacre at Virginia Tech, Peruvian Daniel Pérez Cueva (pictured), who was 21, and Puerto Rican Juan Ramón Ortiz Ortiz, who was 26. (The papers ran wire on Ortiz Ortiz.) Two grieving fathers are quoted as basically saying, 'He was everything you could ask for in a son.' Hoy interviewed Pérez Cueva's father Flavio in Lima before he boarded a plane for Washington, D.C. yesterday. The paper also runs a piece discussing fears about a backlash on immigration reform after the shootings.
