More Prince wish fulfillment, coming soon

Prince is about to announce plans for a fancy summer residency at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, Kevin Bronson reports exclusively at Buzz Bands. This just sounds soo right. Allow me an indulgence: Waaaay back in, uh, December 2006, I clicked my sneaks three times and asked for a Prince revival in 2007. (That clip no longer works; it was a super cheesy but sorta thrilling jazz dance routine to "I Would Die 4 U.") I don't know what spurred the wish exactly. I think it was yet another viewing of one the very best rock-n-roll movies ever made, "Purple Rain," and the realization that Prince is a once-a-half-century head-to-toe genius. Well, first Prince "did" the Super Bowl, and now this. All that's left is for everyone everywhere to start dressing like him, and peace will reign on Earth again. Wait ...
