These shots were taken at around 6:00 p.m. local time heading west within the urban zone on a Estrella Roja bus from Puebla to the southern Tasqueña bus terminal.
Most people on board wore face masks. Everyone mindfully avoided touching the cabin's interior surfaces. Fearlessly, I ventured to utilize the on-board WC.
We'd been away from the capital for four days and were somehow genuinely eager to get back. But coasting into the city, it felt weirdly quiet and deserted. The major streets were clear of heavy traffic. Everything looked closed.
Once we disembarked upon D.F. concrete, I donned my pandemic preparedness look and we headed straight to the metro.
