Above, a long soft shot of the Torre Latino illuminated by this light show that people are talking about lately. This is the same "espectáculo de luces" at the Zócalo that left Centro in shock-and-awe style gridlock a few weeks ago. Well, they brought it back, but still haven't fully solved the traffic problems that come with it.
I can't tell you what the show is like because I haven't gone to see it, and probably won't tomorrow night, when I've read the show is set to end, commemorating the Revolution. The nightly honking, sirens, and screaming outside my window; this feels like a preview of the holiday season ... and probably the next year or so.
